Crandall High School

This year our amazing students from Crandall High School went to work at the Kaufman County Children’s Shelter for their CBI (Community Based Instruction) class.  There were 6 students that rotated and participated in this class.  These students are in this class in order to gain employ-ability skills to use after high school graduation.  They were there to learn job skills related to employment of a business that provides cleaning services.  The students were required to learn how to clean a house such as sanitize door handles and light switches, dust furniture, clean windows and mirrors, clean bathrooms and fold laundry that was washed.   The students were required to learn employ-ability skills and behaviors that will be needed in the real world work force.  Meaning they needed to learn how to interact with employers and coworkers within the business to get their work completed in the time allotted.
