Halloween at the Shelter

Halloween at the Shelter

Kaufman High School cheerleaders had the honor and privilege to shower the children from Fern Norville Kaufman County Children’s Shelter last week with costumes, cookies, candy and face painting. These young ladies come spend the afternoon with the staff and children every year. The most important gift the girls provide is their time playing with the children and loving on them. I am not sure who leaves that evening more rewarded; the children or the cheerleaders who leave there full of joy. What a great opportunity to give back to others! We always look forward to Halloween when the Fern Norville children’s shelter opens its doors to us and allows us to make a difference in the lives of so many. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Go Lions!
