Lots of things have been going on at the Shelter during the past few months.
A few of those we will list here.
In the fall, the Kaufman Christian School community service project.
The Students come each month and help with chores around the house and play with the children.
The Terrell High School Student Council and the Kaufman High School Lion mascot and cheerleaders brought Halloween costumes and candy. Representing the Council are Daja, Stetson and Clayton.
During the Christmas Season Dawson Tallant learned a lesson on generosity at church. Dawson and his mom stopped by the shelter with a gift for the children for Christmas and Amber Carrington and her family visited on the 22nd of December. Amber performed a few songs and the children joined in with a sing along of a couple of Christmas favorites. All the children enjoyed making an edible marshmallow snowman and playing outside.
We want to thank all those who helped to make this a wonderful Christmas time for the children.
