Kaufman County has proclaimed April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. We had guest speakers from several different agencies around the county present, such as CASA, Norville Center Children’s Shelter, Children’s Advocacy Center for Kaufman County, REACH, Empower, Kaufman County Child Welfare Board as well as members from BACA International. It was a great day to talk about the importance of these agencies and the great work they are doing here in our county! Thank you to everyone who came out to the proclamation ceremony!
