On Thursday, March 9, 2017, the Shelter was one of seventeen (17) local charities to receive financial gifts from the Pinnacle Women’s Club. At their annual Philanthropy Luncheon, the Shelter was recognized for their hard work. The Club also recognized those hardworking individuals who “make it happen”, by playing a game of “heads or tails”, where attendees were whittled down to one lucky charity, our own Kaufman County Children’s Shelter. An additional prize for the employees to enjoy was awarded for winning the game.
