A group of singers from Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall came to the
shelter during the Christmas season and spent the afternoon
entertaining the kids with song and dance. Amber Carrington,
who was a contestant and runner up on “The Voice” in 2013 was
one of the singers. Amber lives in Nashville and is working on
her next album.
